Sera Waters
A lovely Australian textile artist. I love this early work of her's but can't think of much to say about it. It's just so easy to appreciate the simplicity and rather paradoxical quality of it. A pork chop portrayed quite accurately through a media that is seemingly enjoyed only by stiff elderly women and young ladies from Austen novels. What an excellent wee concept.
Contemporary embroidery is great. o
